Watch | Ukraine Drops Molten Metal Using Dragon Drones At Russian Positions In Kharkiv

Kyiv: Ukraine on Saturday launched yet another offensive against Russia after it rained molten fire over Russia positions in the occupied Kharkiv region. In a first ever such attack, the Ukrainian military used Dragon drone, which burned the area underneath with thermite.
Thermite is a mixture of burning granules of iron oxide and aluminium. About 500 grams of thermite mixture can be placed under a standard FPV drone. The chemical reaction is… The chemical reaction is triggered by remote control only shortly before the target appears in the area.
Thermite temperature is about 2500 degrees - this means that the hot mixture corrodes even iron in a matter of seconds, and mortars, grenades and cartridges become deadly to their owners.
The undated footage has been shared by Telegram channel Khorne Group. In the videos, one can see a low flying drone raining molten metal targeting Russian positions in occupied Kharkiv region.
The attacks have damaged trees, land, soil and some Russian military vehicles, according to reports.
Ukraine destroys Russian drones
Earlier today, scores of drones were shot down over Ukraine as the country continues to face increased long-range bombardment from invading Russian forces.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that 67 drones were launched over the country overnight, with air defences active in 11 regions across the country, including in the capital, Kyiv. Fifty-eight drones were shot down, with three more destroyed by electronic weapons systems, it said.
Debris from one drone was photographed on the street outside Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada. Ukraine's parliamentary press service confirmed that drone fragments had been found but said there were no casualties and no damage to the parliament building.
The bombardment follows a week of increased long-range attacks across Ukraine, including a missile strike on a Ukrainian military academy and hospital Tuesday in the city of Poltava that killed 55 people and wounded 328 more.
