U.S. President Joe Biden, in his speech to Congress on Wednesday night, said the nuclear programs of Iran and North Korea "present serious threats to American security." He said the U.S. will deal with both nations "through diplomacy as well as stern deterrence."

Biden also said it's time for the U.S. to end the "forever war" in Afghanistan and bring U.S. troops home. He said the United States sent forces into Afghanistan to pursue the terrorists after the attacks of September 11, 2001. He said this has been done and that the mission of the U.S. and its allies in Afghanistan was "never meant to be multi-generational undertakings of nation building."
