Biden hosts leaders of Canada, Mexico for summit

U.S. President Joe Biden hosted the leaders of Canada and Mexico at the White House Thursday for their first in-person meeting since Biden took office, and the first North American Leaders' Summit since 2016.

U.S. President Joe Biden hosted the leaders of Canada and Mexico at the White House Thursday for their first in-person meeting since Biden took office, and the first North American Leaders' Summit since 2016.

The three leaders held discussions on the COVID pandemic, climate change, trade and migration.

"Today, it's about what we can do in partnership and mutual respect to strengthen our region and prove democracies can deliver in the 2nd quarter of the 21st century," Biden said.
