US President Donald Trump on Tuesday congratulated Boris Johnson on becoming the new Prime Minister of United Kingdom. Taking to Twitter, the President of the United States said that Johnson will be "great" in his congratulatory tweet for the new UK PM.
Addressing an audience of young Republican operatives in Washington on Tuesday, Trump also said that Johnson, who once called him unfit for the post of US President, is "a really good man is going to be the prime minister of the U.K", and described him as “Britain Trump”.
However, his tweet did not go down well with his critics and the likes of Boris Johnson's critics. Netizens not only slammed the US President for his tweet on Johnson, but also posted hilarious memes of the two leaders pointing out the commonalities between them, specifically their hair. "Birds of a feather", say the social media users pointing out the similarity in the hair of both the leaders.
Boris Johnson, Britain’s blustering Brexit campaigner, was chosen as the U.K.’s next prime minister on Tuesday, with a resounding mandate from the Conservative Party but conflicting demands from a politically divided country.
