Family holds vigil to mark George Floyd's birthday

A vigil was held in New York City on Wednesday to mark what would have been George Floyd's 47th birthday.

The event was attended by dozens of family and supporters including Floyd's brother Terrence who spoke of his pain at losing his relative.

George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis on May 25  at the knee of a white policeman sparked violent protests across the United States and generated calls for police reforms.
