Former U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates addressed the Democratic National Committee Tuesday, slamming President Donald Trump for his "his relentless attacks on our democratic institutions and countless dedicated public servants."
Yates clashed with President Donald Trump after she refused to defend his travel ban on residents of some predominantly Muslim countries, which she described as "shameful and unlawful."
She was fired by Trump 10 days into his administration.
Yates said Trump "treats our country like it's his family business, this time bankrupting our nation's moral authority at home and abroad."
