The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), Melania Trump, rubbished the rumours about her husband, Donald Trump's alleged affairs saying that she had ''much more important things to think about''.

“I know people like to speculate and media like to speculate about our marriage and circulate the gossip,” she said. “But I understand the gossip sells newspapers, magazines ... and, unfortunately, we live in this kind of world today.”

While campaigning for the Presidential Elections in 2016, Trump was heard on an old ''Access Hollywood'' tape discussing talks of sexual nature. Apparently, Trump can be heard saying: “I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet,” on seeing attractive women. He also said that when you’re a star, women let you. Trump was also accused of having multiple affairs and having had slept with multiple women, including the Porn star, Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy Playmate, Karen McDougal.

Trump had denied all allegations against himself. However, he acknowledged reimbursing his lawyer for a US$ 130,000 hushed payment to Daniels. His former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations. It alleged that Cohen, Trump and an American tabloid company were involved in buying the silence of Daniels and McDougal after they alleged affairs with Trump.

Melania Trump has always remained tight-lipped about the matter. Speaking about the subject now, she said that the accusations were not a concern for her. Playing down any suggestions of a strife in their marriage, she gave an affirmation on being asked whether she loves Trump, saying: "Yes, we are fine. Yes."

“It is not concern and focus of mine. I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do.”

She highlighted that the media world was based on speculations and hearing rumours about her husband wasn't always pleasant. But that did not change her judgement. “Yeah, it’s not always pleasant, of course, but I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true and not true,” Mrs Trump added.

Recently, there was a hullabaloo over Mrs Trump sporting a jacket that said "I really don't care, do u?" on her visit to meet migrant children estranged from their parents. Mrs Trump explained that the jacket was not worn while meeting the children, and the message was meant for those  “people and the left-wing media who are criticizing me”. She also went on to say that she wore the jacket purposely on her way back to Washington after seeing “how the media was obsessed about it”.
