Michigan High School's pop culture student ID photos win internet

North Farmington High School students dressed up as Beyoncé, Jim and Pam from 'The Office', drag queen Jasmine Masters, Rachel Chu for their ID photos.

The seniors at North Farmington High School, situated in the suburbs of Detroit, have their own annual tradition of dressing up as pop culture figures for their ID photos when they get their photos taken for their student ID cards. This year their prank reached new heights. The students can be seen dressed up as Beyoncé, Jim and Pam from The Office, drag queen Jasmine Masters, Rachel Chu from Crazy Rich Asians and more. The ID photos of the student have received thousands of likes and retweets on Twitter under the hashtag #NFID20. A lot of Twitterati applauded their creativity and innovation.

Students come up with various characters

A student came up with a scene from Disney Channel Show Hannah Montana where the protagonist smashes a pie on her own face. Another student drew the children's cartoon character Peppa Pig on her face and neck. Another student can be seen dressed up as Shuri from the Marvel movie Black Panther. Twins Andreas and Therese Diakovasiliou dressed up as the creepy twins from The Shining. Therese said that its an annual tradition of the school and they go viral every year. The senior class went viral for the past three to four years. Therese told a weekly newspaper that they bought a dress from Amazon and it cost them hardly $30 and shared it. Andreas said it was really very difficult for her to do it and tried to control her laughter the whole time. The high school is located in Farmington Hills on the outskirts of Detroit. The school has 311 students in its graduating class as of last spring.
