The Pentagon has announced $125 million dollars in military aid for Ukraine to help it combat Russian aggression.

Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby said the aid includes training, equipment and advisory efforts "to help Ukraine's forces preserve the country's territorial integrity, secure its borders and improve interoperability with NATO."

Kirby said the assistance would not include Javelin anti-tank missiles, but would include two armed Mark IV patrol boats to help Ukraine defend its territorial waters.

Kirby also updated reporters on last week's U.S. military airstrikes in Syria, saying the strikes likely killed one militia member, and left two others wounded.

The U.S. launched a total of seven missiles destroying nine facilities and heavily damaging two others

The airstrikes followed a Feb. 15 rocket attack in northern Iraq that killed one civilian contractor and wounded a U.S. service member and other coalition troops.
