Plane brings medical supplies from China to California

Some 40 more charter cargo flights are expected over the next three weeks, bringing PPE into the country to be distributed to various hot spots, according to FEMA.

A plane carrying personal protective equipment from China landed in Los Angeles on Friday as part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency  "air bridge" to quickly move supplies into the country.

Some 40 more charter cargo flights are expected over the next three weeks, bringing PPE into the country to be distributed to various hot spots, according to FEMA.

The new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms for most people. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness or death.
