Pompeo on US-China relations, intellectual property

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday spoke of the "long challenge of the Chinese Communist Party stealing intellectual property," which he said had cost Europeans and Americans "hundreds of thousands of jobs."

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday spoke of the "long challenge of the Chinese Communist Party stealing intellectual property," which he said had cost Europeans and Americans "hundreds of thousands of jobs."

He spoke following a meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod in Copenhagen, responding to a question about the U.S. decision to order China to close its Houston consulate, in order to "protect American intellectual property" and the private information of Americans.
