A crowd packed into the streets in front of New York City's Trump Tower on Tuesday, as demonstrators protested the police-involved killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Demonstrators later marched through much of Manhattan to protest the killing.

Tuesday marked the eighth straight day of protests, which began after a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee against George Floyd's neck while the handcuffed black man called out that he couldn't breathe.

The killing of Floyd set off demonstrations that at times brought violence and destruction along with pleas to stop police brutality and injustice against African Americans.
