A former CIA analyst revealed that Russia President Vladimir Putin had called his US counterpart George W. Bush two days before 9/11, warning the US President of an impending terror attack coming from Afghanistan. The revelation of the imminent 9/11 terrorist plot was mentioned by the former CIA analyst of the Bush-era, George Beebee, in the book, 'The Russia Trap: How Our Shadow War with Russia Could Spiral into Nuclear Catastrophe.'

The book excerpt read, "Putin had telephoned (US) President Bush two days before the attacks to warn that Russian intelligence had detected signs of an incipient terrorist campaign, 'something long in preparation,' coming out of Afghanistan."

The claim by the former CIA analyst brims new information that the terror warnings were not just exchanged between the intelligence agencies of Russia and the US, but Russia President Vladimir Putin himself called on to his counterpart, to forewarn him about what became the most brutal terror attack on the soil of United States on 9/11.

US 9/11 warnings

This reinstates the theory that Washington overlooked the warnings of a plausible terror attack. According to a report on the New York Times, then US President had received 'direct warnings' about the Al Qaeda attack since the spring of 2001.

Along with Russia, and US intelligence, even Britain spies had allegedly warned the White House about the terror attack.

Osama bin Laden killing

After eluding the US for almost a decade, the perpetrator and Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was killed in a covert raid by the US Navy SEAL team in Pakistan's Abbottabad, under Islamabad's nose, despite Pakistan PM Imran Khan's claim otherwise.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan had claimed on July 22, during his US visit that ISI provided a lead to the CIA that guided the US track down and kill Osama bin Laden in 2011. However, his claims were shunned by former CIA Director Gen David Petraeus.

Launching a solid feud on social media back on 19 November 2018, the US President Donald Trump brought to everyone’s notice how he pointed Bin Laden out before the Twin Tower attack and blamed Pakistan for letting him live under their nose inside the country. He also went ahead to call the Pakistan government ‘fools.’

Donald Trump had proclaimed how the United States refuses to pay billions to India’s neighbour as there is nothing in return. Claiming Pakistan to be one of those countries who gave nothing in return, even cited Osama bin Laden and Afghanistan as an example.
