Some people seem to think the 'Rainbow brigade' is having it all while their community was marginalized. Who are these people?

Straight people.

Yes, a group led by three men in Boston, US  have announced a 'straight pride' parade, according to US news agencies. The parade named 'Super Happy Fun America' claims to stand 'on behalf of the straight community in order to foster respect and awareness with people from all walks of life', according to its website and is a reaction against the fact that Boston rejected the group's application to raise its "straight pride flag" at Boston's City Hall earlier this spring, according to CBS.

According to its website, the group plans to take the same parade route as June's Boston Pride Parade and is requesting the same "accommodations," afforded the annual event, including street closings and the inclusion of vehicles and floats. The organization is led by three men and helmed by President John Hugo, claims its website.

While the group initially planned to use Brad Pitt as its ambassador, it had to redact all its signs and pictures claiming the same, after the actor's displeasure at the group besmirching his name, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Ironically, recent reports have emerged that the group has announced Alt-Right gay icon Milo Yiannopoulos as the Marshal of its parade. The group has faced severe backlash by international media with US late-night TV host Stephen Colbert commenting:

“If you’re wondering the difference between the Gay Pride Parade and the Straight Pride Parade, the Gay Pride Parade will have women at it.”

While South African comedian Trevor Noah took a sarcastic route saying, "Ya, straight people are the victims. After all straight marriage has been legal for only what 4000 years."
