Thousands march in Chicago for pride parade

Thousands of LGBTQ activists and community members marched through Chicago's North Side Sunday to "reclaim pride."

The city's annual parade was canceled due to coronavirus.

The purpose of Sunday's march to reclaim grassroots efforts that launched the LGBTQ movement with focus on Black and brown, especially transgender voices.

The march went up to a 2-mile route north to Uptown.
