In a point by point analysis, ace comedian Trevor Noah makes a compelling argument about the similarities between US President Donald Trump and newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

'PAKISTAN’S DONALD TRUMP'

In a 4: 45-minute segment on an episode of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, the South African TV-host drew comparisons between US President Donald Trump and newly elected Prime Minister Imran Khan.  

The much-watched comedian known for his satirical take on global news highlighted that much similar to US President Donald Trump, Imran Khan too hails from a wealthy background. Providing his viewers with visuals of the similarity between Imran Khan's bedroom interiors to the interiors of the Trump's Tower calling it the 'Pakistani Trump Tower'.

In addition to their lavish lifestyles, Imran Khan and US President Donald Trump both have had a tiff with mainstream media. The juxtaposed video throws light on key similarities between the two namely, the number of wives, conservation views on women's rights issues, sexual harassment cases along with their ‘rowdy’ followers to election campaign speeches. One user offered to 'write an essay' on stating why Trevor Noah's comparison was 'lazy and wrong'.  

Imran Khan will reportedly be sworn in as the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Saturday. The former Pakistan skipper contested in the recently held elections. Pakistan's national assembly elected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s Imran Khan as Prime Minister on July 25. The election of the former cricketer was celebrated across the country due to his widespread popularity. Moreover, several current and former members of the cricket team visited his residence at Bani Gala to congratulate him.
