President Donald Trump says he is looking forward to an Arizona trip next week and also hopes to visit Ohio soon, despite the fact that much of the nation remains on some sort of lockdown as the virus continues to spread.

During an event at the White House with business executives, Trump said: “We’re going to start to move around and hopefully in the not-too-distant future, we’ll have some massive rallies and people will be sitting next to each other.”

Trump wouldn’t say exactly when he expects to be able to resume his rallies, but said it will depend, in part, on the state.

The president also spoke about helping the oil and energy industry and looking into withholding funding to sanctuary cities.

For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia. The vast majority of people recover from the new virus.
