Trump supporters appear to disregard virus at protest

Pro-Trump protesters took to the streets of Washington on Saturday, many seemingly unconcerned about the pandemic as the country has reached a record 3,309 daily coronavirus deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

One Trump supporter speaking to Britrish broadcaster Sky News said that "I am not worried about the coronavirus", adding that "I'm not going to let the China virus control my life."

Referring to the imminent roll out of a COVID-19 vaccine, another protester said that although the vaccine was great for people who were scared about the virus, she personally wasn't bothered.
