President Donald Trump sent well wishes to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson after news broke earlier Sunday that he had been admitted to a hospital with the new coronavirus. "All Americans are praying for him. He's a friend of mine," Trump said.

Johnson's office says he is being admitted for tests because he still has symptoms, 10 days after testing positive for the virus. During a White House briefing, Trump also announced that Washington state will be returning 400 ventilators that Gov. Jay Inslee said are not needed.

"We appreciate that he's able to give them back. He feels confident that they are in good shape for the coming weeks," Trump said of Inslee.

The new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms for most people. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness or death.
