Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo defended his record in office Saturday as he addressed activists at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Pompeo used his speech to tout his achivements, and dismissed criticism seen in the months since President Joe Biden took office.

"I'm proud of our fight and I'm proud of our accomplishments and that we have truly upended the status quo," Pompeo said.

The conference is taking place in Orlando this year instead of its usual home just outside Washington, DC because of coronavirus restrictions.
