US President Donald Trump received 'boos and cheers' at UFC, New York

The US President Donald Trump, received mixed reactions with continuous boos and cheers from the spectators, when he stepped in the Madison Square Garden.

President Donald Trump took a break from his busy schedule and the impeachment inquiry demanded by the House Democrats when he decided to attend the exciting Ultimate Fighting Championship on November 2 in New York. The President, however, witnessed continuous boos and cheers from the spectators, when he stepped in the Madison Square Garden.

The US President Donald Trump who attended the sports event with his sons Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr along with several congressional Republican received negative reception. The spectators were holding signs which read, “Remove Trump" and "Impeach Trump”. This is not the first time that the President faced such a polarized reception.

Trump received a mixed reception

Many felt it was an unusual place for Trump but considering his long-standing ties with UFC, he came to watch the mixed martial arts fight where both fighters took their turns to knock down each other with their series of punches and kicks. He received mixed reactions from the spectators who came to witness the fight, which involved boos and cheers. Trump was seen watching the match intensely. However, he was frequently witnessed waving at the crowd and greeting them. Donald Trump posted on Twitter the positive reaction he received at the  UFC 244 card. The match was between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. The winner received a belt from wrestler turned actor The Rock.

Trump’s visit to World Series

During Trump’s Washington visit at the World Series, he received negative reception on the same day, US reported the death of ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was the most wanted terrorist of the world. Since Washington marks the dominance of the liberals, therefore the response of the people was predictable. People displayed their anger by shouting loud boos, cheers and asking to ‘lock him up’ after people saw him on the Nationals Park's video screen.
