Senior officials in the Trump-led administration worked to reverse the situation on the Democrats in favor of the President's indictment. They further stated that Donald Trump was the informant who pressed Ukraine to launch an investigation against the former Vice President Joe Biden's son under the charges of corruption.

Backing by the Republicans

Republicans who are functioning as Trump's allies are in support of the controversy plagued president as he is in the midst of an impeachment inquiry, refuting that he took undue advantage of his presidential powers and further attempted to dilute the authenticity of the unknown informant who was responsible for revealing the corruption scandal. According to legal reports, the "whistleblower" will soon stand before the congress, a bicameral legislature of the American federal government.

Speaking to a local media outlet, President Trump's advisor Stephen Miller tagged Trump as the "whistleblower". He further added that the American president was trying to weaken the authority of the government by undermining the principles on which the government had been based upon. He also stated that solving the alleged scandal in Ukraine lied in the interests of the American people.

The US house of representatives ruled by the Democrats kick-started a formal impeachment probe under allegations that Trump roughed up his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky with a motive of further denting his chances in the upcoming 2020 elections.

Donald Trump and his partners have alleged that Joe Biden put pressure on Ukraine to dismiss their Senior most prosecutor in order to help out his son, who was on the board of Burisma Holdings, blamed for being a part of illegal activities.

Although, all of these accusations have been put to rest as there was no concrete proof of any ongoing corrupt practices by the Biden family.

With the Bidens being cleared of the allegations, a telephonic transcript has come to light, wherein Trump can be heard exerting pressure on Ukraine to re-open the case involving Joe Biden's son Hunter and in relation to this, Trump's lawyer Rudi Giuliani stated that it was the President's duty to talk to Ukraine about the concerning matter.

A silver lining

This came as a silver lining for the Democrats as Nancy Pelosi finally gave a green light to the impeachment process she described as something that requires walking on thin ice before the 2020 elections.

The Democrats have gone head-on against the President in relation to the inquiry, asking Mike Pompeo to hand in all the documents and papers on Ukraine and setting up of attestations given by witnesses.

According to reports, all angles of the case were being looked into alongside a suspicion whether Donald Trump held back millions in terms of financial aid as barter.

The Democrats have also stated that the process of impeachment against Trump could take less than a month and immediately after that table in the house of representatives. If the impeachment is given the green light in the House, he would then be tried in the Senate, where he would be able to avoid being convicted as he will be able to count on the Republicans.

According to reports, Rudi Giuliani has been tagged as a twin of Donald Trump, who has showcased that he will willingly speak out lies in order to advance his motives.
