Vaccine distribution to expand in Colorado

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said Friday anyone 60 and older will be eligible to receive a vaccine for the coronavirus beginning March 5 followed by those 50 and older near the end of the month.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said Friday anyone 60 and older will be eligible to receive a vaccine for the coronavirus beginning March 5 followed by those 50 and older near the end of the month.

"Around March 21, we'll be expanding to anybody aged 50 and up in our state will be able to get the vaccine," Polis said at a virtual news conference.

Nearly a million residents will be eligible to receive the vaccine in the phase beginning March 5.
