Chicago-area residents were digging out again Tuesday after yet another winter storm dumped a foot and a half of snow in some places.

It's been a fierce February, as this latest blast of snow has been coupled with brutal cold.

Chicago officials continue to ask residents not to go outside unless they need to and to check on their neighbours.

But some are making the most of the snow.

Joe Przybyla took his daughter Amani sledding on a hill near their Chicago home.

"The snow is absolutely perfect," said Przybyla. "It's a bit cold, but if you dress warm and you have the proper stuff you feel perfect out here today."
