The U.S. Coast Guard says a helicopter crew in Alaska rescued a hiker on Saturday, after a bear mauled the man.
He was attacked while backcountry skiing near Haines, Alaska.
A Coast Guard helicopter pulled the man up and brought him to Juneau, where emergency medical workers were waiting for him.
