California: 4 dead, many injured in mass shooting at Halloween party

Four people have died while several others are reported wounded after several gunfires at a grand Halloween party on the night of October 31 at Orinda Hill.

At least four people died and several others were wounded in multiple shootings at a grand Halloween party on the night of October 31. The party took place at Orinda Hill, North California in front of a quiet street. The news was later confirmed by the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff Public Information Officer in a tweet on Friday.

Prior to this tweet, the department had indicated multiple shooting incidents that took place in the area and informed that immediate investigations had started at 11:45 pm.  A video posted by a local news channel showed several patients being loaded into ambulances while others were restricted from the scene. A suspect reportedly said that the property where the incident took place was rental and the main attendees were from a local college. Further details are awaited.

3 dead in mass shooting at another Halloween Party

The recent shooting incident came just two days after a shooter opened fire at a Halloween party leaving three people dead and injuring12 others. The party was happening in the backyard of a home behind a nail salon in Long Beach. Long Beach Police Department tweeted that the shooting occurred at 10:45 PM on October 29.
