President Biden returns home after Mideast trip

US President Joe Biden arrived at Joint Base Andrews on Saturday as he returned from a four-day trip to the Middle East.

During his trip, Biden visited Saudi Arabia, Israel and the West Bank.

He attended a wider regional summit in Saudi Arabia on Saturday during which he said the United States would not walk away from Middle East security and leave a vacuum that Russia, China or Iran could try and fill.

Biden also outlined the principles of his strategy for the region, focusing on regional cooperation to stand up to threats.
