US: Illinois National Guard to help secure Washington

Eighteen Illinois National Guard members have joined thousands of Guard members from across the country in Washington ahead of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.

The goal of the Illinois National Guard members' deployment is to assist whatever law enforcement agencies need them to do.

The mission is scheduled for 10 days but Moushon says they could return sooner or later.
