Gaza: As the Israel-Hamas war continues to rage on, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a visit to the war-ravaged Gaza Strip and met the Israeli troops stationed at the coastal enclave. During his trip to the region, the Israeli premier was briefed on Hamas' operations “in the heart of civilian areas”, according to the statement released by the Israeli Prime Minister's office. In the latest video uploaded by Netanyahu's office, the Israeli premier was seen travelling across the region and addressing the Israeli troops stationed during the war. While giving his address, Netanyahu touted the Israel Defence Force's (IDF) successful operation in Gaza, The New York Post reported.

“First thing — we will do everything to keep you safe,” Netanyahu said while addressing the Israeli troops. “Secondly, we are not stopping. Anyone who talks about stopping — no. “We’re not stopping. This war is going to go on until the end. Until we finish them. No less than that,” he added. In the video released by the Prime Minister's office, the Israeli premier was seen shaking hands and speaking with the soldiers, assuring them that the war will not come to an end until Hamas is eradicated.  In a subsequent tweet, the Israeli premier recalled the two messages he delivered in Gaza.

“Today with our heroic fighters on the battlefield in the Gaza Strip. I told them two things: First thing - we will do everything to keep your safety, your life,” the Israeli premier wrote on X, formally known as Twitter. “Second thing - we don't stop and we won't stop fighting. The war continues to the end. Until Hamas is finished, no less than that. The nation of Israel is proud of its heroic warriors. I'm proud of you. We continue with all our strength,” he added.

Netanyahu expresses gratitude to the soldier

During his trip to the conflict-stricken region, the Israeli premier expressed his gratitude towards the soldiers fighting on the frontline, calling them Israel's “key to victory ”. Meanwhile, the Israeli premier was also briefed on the types of weapons and shafts it has found in the region. The IDF told Netanyahu that most of these tunnel shafts have been found sprawled throughout civilian infrastructures in Gaza. The briefing came days after the Israeli military found Hamas explosive belts made for children along with toy chests hiding warheads at a kindergarten in Gaza.

In another raid on a Gaza school, the IDF also found rows and rows of grenades, RPG missiles, explosives and firearm ammunition. The school was serving as a shelter for Palestinian refugees. “IDF troops found toy boxes filled with dozens of mortar shells, warheads and RPG type anti-tank missiles in a kindergarten in Gaza,” the Israeli military said in a statement following the raid. However, it is important to note that the IDF did not specify which areas the raid took place in Gaza.
