The X4 M40i SUV is equipped with a 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine, coupled with 48V mild-hybrid technology. It's expected to arrive in India through the completely built unit (CBU) route and is likely to feature the same engine used in global models. The mild-hybrid powertrain enhances the SUV's output by approximately 11 bhp and enables the X4 M40i to run on electric power for up to 50 kilometres.
Pricing
Before being removed from the Indian market, the BMW X4 had a starting price of Rs. 71.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It's expected that the X4 M40i SUV will be priced at least ₹90 lakh (ex-showroom) when it's launched.
