EICMA 2024: Royal Enfield Bear 650 launched at Rs 3.39 lakh in India

Royal Enfield Bear 650 launched: Royal Enfield launched a new scrambler motorcycle in India, the Bear 650, which shares its platform with the Interceptor 650. The Bear 650 is launched at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) and comes with a 648cc parallel-twin petrol engine. The new entry from the Royal Enfield has the same output of power from the engine, but the torque is now increased and has a single exhaust output. As compared to Interceptor 650, the Bear 650 weighs 2kg less.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Price and Competiton:

Royal Enfield launched the Bear 650 at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) in India and goes to Rs 3.59 lakh depending on the colour opted by the customer. It competes against the BSA Gold Star 650 in its segment.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Design:

The design of the Royal Enfield Bear 650 is different from the other 650cc motorcycles. For starters, it gets round-shaped LED headlights and indicators. The front gets a 19-inch tyre with spoke wheels and the rear gets a 17-inch tyre with a wide profile. The Bear 650 gets an 184mm ground clearance.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Suspension and Brakes: 

The suspension duties are handled by the 43 mm Showa upside-down forks, which have a 130 mm travel. The rear suspensions get new shock absorbers, which have a travel of 115mm. The braking duties are handled by 320mm disc brakes at the front and 270mm disc at the rear. The Bear 650 weighs 216kg, which is two kilograms lighter than the Interceptor 650.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Features:

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 comes loaded with features. The bike is offered with dual-channel switchable ABS, hazard lamps, a type-C charger port, and a circular TFT display as the one seen on other Royal Enfield motorcycles like the Himalayan and the Guerrilla 450.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Engine Specifications:

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is powered by an oil and air-cooled 648cc parallel twin petrol engine. This engine produces 47 BHP and 56.5 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
