The new Dzire will be launched on November 11, 2024, in India and this generation comes with an updated exterior, interiors, and a new powertrain. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire was first launched in March 2008 in India.
Mr Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "The Dzire's extraordinary journey since 2008 has made it India's favourite sedan, winning the trust of over 27 lakh customers.”
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Amount:
As per the official communication from the company, the customers can book the updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire with a token amount of Rs 11,000. The Dzire is sold through the Arena dealerships or can be booked via the online sales platform.
What to expect from Maruti Suzuki Dzire:
Maruti Suzuki has teased that the front profile of the new Dzire is completely revised. There is a new design for the grill, there are LED headlamps and DRLs, which are revised and the bumpers are also redesigned. The teaser image also showcases that the new Dzire will get a 360-degree camera as a feature in the top-end variants.
According to media reports, the side design of the new Dzire is similar and there is a new design for the alloy wheels. The rear profile of the Dzire will be offered with a new design for the LED taillamps. The rear profile now sports a stylish design with the use of chrome and the Dzire will be getting a shark-fin antenna.
Although not officially confirmed yet, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire can get the same engine as the Swift. It is a Z-Series engine, which is a 1.2-litre inline three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which churns out 82 BHP and 113 Nm torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual or an AMT transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Competition:
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire will compete against the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the Honda Amaze in its segment.
