Maitreya Medicare IPO: Maitreya Medicare share sale via initial public offering (IPO) will open for subscription on Friday, October 27 and end on November 1. The company is planning to raise Rs 14.89 crore from the IPO which will be a fresh issue of shares. The shares of Maitreya Medicare will be listed on NSE SME platform on November 9.

Maitreya Medicare will be selling shares in price band of Rs 78-82 per share and a retail investor can bid for minimum one lot of 1,600 shares. One lot of Maitreya Medicare shares in the IPO is priced at Rs 1,31,200.

The company has reserved 50 per cent shares in the IPO for qualified institutional buyers (QIB), which include large investors like banks, mutual funds and foreign institutional investors. 35 per cent shares in the IPO are set aside for non-institutional investors and 15 per cent are reserved for retail investors.

Maitreya Medicare raised Rs 4.05 crore from anchor investors ahead of its IPO.

The company will use the proceeds from IPO for making investment through equity in the subsidiary named Maitreya Hospital Private Limited for setting up a Hospital at Valsad, Gujarat, redemption of part of issued non-convertible redeemable preference shares, working capital requirements of the company and for general corporate purposes.

Maitreya Medicare Limited is a multi-speciality hospital situated in Surat. The main focus of the hospital is multi-disciplinary integrated healthcare services, with primary secondary and tertiary care. Maitreya Medicare offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services across over 18 specialties and super specialties, including cardiology, urology, laparoscopic surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, spine surgery, neurology, nephrology including dialysis, gastroenterology, gastrointestinal surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, onco surgery, orthopaedic surgery including joint replacements and arthroscopic surgeries, gynaecology and high-risk obstetrics, hepatocellular biliary surgery, critical care medicine among others.

As of 2023, the hospital has a 125-bed capacity under the leadership of Dr. Narendra Singh Tanwar, founder, Promoter, CFO, and Managing Director of the hospital, Dr Pranav Rohitbhai Thaker, Promoter & whole-time director, and Vimal Patel, Promoter and Whole Time Director.
