NEET-PG Result 2024 LIVE Updates: When To Expect NEET-PG Results, How To Check at natboard.edu.in

NEET-PG Result LIVE Updates: As per the previous notification issued by NBEMS when NEET-PG 2024 was scheduled to be held on June 23, the result date was July 15, which is 22 days post the exam. Similarly, candidates can expect the results 22 days after the exam date, i.e, August 11. Candidates can expect the results by the end of August or in the first week of September.

NEET-PG 2024 result is expected to be declared soon. However, no official date has been announced yet.

“Trainees who have completed their self-appraisal and are now provisionally registered with NBEMS, are required to update & declare their last employment details through the link available in Trainee Login at OPJR, if they were employed in any Govt. Institution/organization before the joining of NBEMS course. Trainees who have completed their self-appraisal and are now provisionally registered with NBEMS are also required to update the said information by selecting “No” in the said last employment declaration form, if they were NOT employed in any Govt. Institution/organization before the joining of NBEMS course,” a latest notice released by NBEMS stated.

The exam comprises of 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 response options/ distractors in English language only. Candidates are required to
select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. Time allotted is 3 hrs 30 minutes.

The dates indicated by candidates with regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship in the application form (i.e. internship starting and completion date) shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship completion certificate at the time of counseling/admission in allotted Medical College/ Institute.

Candidates in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 and possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical
Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 15th August 2024, may apply for NEET-PG 2024 through online application system at website https://natboard.edu.in

The Registration for NEET-PG 2024 at the time of Counseling to be conducted by designated counseling authority (MCC) will be as per the details of candidates submitted in NBEMS NEET-PG 2024 Application Form and will be pre-populated in the Registration Form for counseling. Hence, candidates are advised to maintain their same Registration details e.g. mobile number, Email ID etc. as provided in the NBEMS NEET-PG 2024 application form.

The selection and admission to Postgraduate seats in any medical institutions recognized for running MD/ MS/Post Graduate Diploma courses as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, medical fitness and such
criteria as may be prescribed by the respective universities, medical institutions, the NMC, State/Central Government.

The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG for 2024-25 session:
1. AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS
2. PGIMER, Chandigarh
3. JIPMER, Puducherry
4. NIMHANS, Bengaluru
5. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum

NEET-PG 2024 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024-25 which will include the following:

1. All India 50% quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
2. State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
3. All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed
Universities all across the country
4. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
5. Post MBBS DNB Courses, Direct 6 years DrNB Courses and Post
MBBS NBEMS Diploma Courses

NBEMS in its notice said, “Candidates are advised not to be allured or mislead by unscrupulous agents /touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails/SMS or forged documents or social media. NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS. Be aware when getting any email/SMS/message on social media in the name of NBEMS, please cross verify information received through SMS in name of NBEMS with a corresponding Email/NBEMS Website update."

NEET Results will be declared on the following websites- nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. 

In 2023, Dr. Aarushi Narwani from Jaipur emerged as the NEET PG topper, securing the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a remarkable score of 725 out of 800. Dr. Narwani, who is studying at MMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, topped the list by a narrow margin of four marks. Following closely was Dr. Prem Tilak, who achieved AIR 2 with a score of 721. Along with the results, NBEMS will also release the NEET-PG topper list 2024. The exam was held for a total of 800 marks.

NBEMS will announce the NEET-PG 2024 cut-off scores along with the results. Let's take a look at the last year's cut-off marks for admission to MD/MS/DNB/Diploma courses last year:

• General and EWS: 291 marks
• General-PwD: 274 marks
• SC, ST, OBC (including PwD belonging to these categories): 257 marks.

NEET-PG 2024 exam was held on August 11. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on June 23. However, it was postponed, as a preventive measure, amid the NEET-UG paper leak case.

NBEMS is expected to declare the NEET-PG 2024 results today. However, the official information regarding the result date and time is still awaited.
