UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2023: Application begins for 300 vacancies

United India Insurance Co. Ltd. (UIIC) has begun its online application process for the recruitment of assistant positions, aiming to fill 300 vacancies. Eligible candidates interested in applying can do so by visiting the official website, uiic.co.in. The application window opened on December 16 and will remain accessible until January 6, 2024. Admit cards will be available for download ten days before the examination date.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old as of September 30, 2023. A graduate degree from a recognized university is a mandatory requirement. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the recruiting state is also essential.

Application Fee:

Except for candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories and permanent company employees, all applicants must pay a fee of Rs 1,000. Those falling under the SC/ST/PwBD and permanent company employee categories have a reduced fee of Rs 250.

Selection Procedure:

The recruitment process involves an online examination, followed by a regional language test for successful candidates.

Salary Package:

In metropolitan areas, the initial monthly salary is around Rs 37,000, with allowances varying based on the posting location. Additional benefits include a Lump Sum Domiciliary Medical package, membership in a Group Mediclaim Policy for hospitalization expense reimbursement, Leave Travel Subsidy, and other staff welfare initiatives, all in accordance with the company's policies.

Examination Structure:

The examination comprises sections on reasoning, English language, numerical ability, general knowledge/general awareness, and computer language. Each section has 40 questions, totaling 50 marks per section, and the exam duration is two hours.
