UPSC NDA, NA (1) Notification 2024: Check eligibility criteria, steps to apply for the exam here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the notification and begin the registration process for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024 on December 20.  Simultaneously, the Commission will unveil the UPSC NDA application form. As soon as the forms are available, candidates can complete the UPSC NDA and NA application process by January 9.

The National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024 is slated to take place on April 21, 2024. Prospective candidates are required to apply online via upsconline.nic.in. It is mandatory for applicants to first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform accessible on the Commission's website before proceeding with the examination's online application. The OTR registration needs to be completed only once in a lifetime and can be done at any time during the year. For those already registered, they can directly proceed with filling out the online application for the examination.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC NDA And NA Exam (I) 2024

- For the Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidates must have passed the 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University.
- For the Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates need a 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University. Applicants appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

UPSC NDA And NA Exam (I) 2024: How to apply

1. Visit the official websites of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in.
2. Register on the portal, and upon registration, proceed to fill out the application form.
3. Enter educational qualifications, marks, and other basic details in the application form.
4. Upload necessary documents, pay the fee, and submit the application.
