UPSC NDA, NA (I) notification 2024 released for 400 vacancies, here's direct link to apply

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification and online application form for NDA 1, 2024, today, December 20, on the official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates can submit their NDA application forms until January 9, 2024, provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

Before initiating the registration process for NDA 1, 2024, aspirants should carefully review the eligibility conditions and pertinent information outlined in the UPSC NDA 1, 2024 notification. The registration process involves furnishing personal and academic details, uploading essential documents, and completing the fee payment to finalize UPSC NDA 1 registration. UPSC has announced a total of 400 vacancies for NDA 1, 2024.

How to apply for UPSC NDA, NA Exam 2024

1. Visit the UPSC official website - upsc.gov.in.
2. on the “Online One-Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations” link on the homepage.
3. Select the “New Registration” link.
4. Fill in the required details and complete the UPSC registration form.
5. Log in using your credentials after registration.
6. Access the UPSC NDA 1, 2024 application form link under the "Active notification" section on your dashboard.
7. Fill out the form and preview the entered information.
8. Proceed to pay the applicable UPSC NDA 1, 2024 application fee.
9. Upload the necessary scanned documents, signature, and photo identity card document in the specified format.
10. Review all details in the UPSC NDA 1, 2024 application form and submit it.
11. Download the NDA 1, 2024 application form.

Additionally, the UPSC will provide a window for UPSC NDA application form corrections online. This correction facility for UPSC NDA 1, 2024 will be accessible from January 10 to 16, 2024, on the official website. The UPSC NDA 1 exam, 2024, is scheduled for April 21, 2024.

UPSC NDA, NA Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Only unmarried male and female candidates born between July 2nd, 2005, and July 1st, 2008, are eligible for this examination.

Educational Qualifications:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Must have passed the 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Must have passed the 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are currently appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Candidates who qualify the SSB interview but are unable to produce their Matriculation/10+2 or equivalent certificate in original at the time of the SSB interview must send duly self-attested photocopies to the 'Directorate General of Recruiting, Army HQ, West Block.III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066' and for Naval Academy candidates to 'Naval Headquarters, DMPR, OI&R Section, Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhavan, New Delhi-110011' by December 24, 2024. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

Other candidates who have presented their Matriculation and 10+2 pass or equivalent certificates in original during the SSB interview and had them verified by the SSB authorities are not required to submit them to Army HQ or Naval HQ, as applicable. Certificates issued in original by the Principals of the Institutions are also acceptable if Boards/Universities have not yet issued certificates. Certified true copies or photostat copies of such certificates will not be accepted.
