TSPSC group 2 exam postponed again due to Telangana elections

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has once again deferred the Group 2 Services Exam. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held on August 29 and 30 which was postponed for November 2 and 3. Now, the exam has been rescheduled for January 6 and 7, 2024 as the exam date (November 3) is clashing with the state election notification date. The TSPSC group 2 exam will be held in two shifts- from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

“The Commission after careful examination of the matter decided to reschedule the Group 2 examination (Notification No: 28/2022) scheduled to be held on 2nd and 3rd November 2023 to 6th and 7th January 2024 in view of the examination date (3rd November) coinciding with the election notification date and since the critical administrative machinery will be preoccupied with election related activities,” reads the official notification.

Telangana state general assembly elections will take place on November 3 and the results will be out on December 3. 

TSPSC group 2 exam hall tickets will be out a week before the exam date. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 783 vacancies in group 2 services.
