Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Traffic Advisory Issued
The traffic department of Navi Mumbai has issued a six-day traffic advisory for four constituencies under its jurisdiction, in view of the upcoming Maharashtra Elections. The traffic advisory which includes the list of ‘no parking zones’, ‘entry/exit of vehicles’, diversions and routes to avoid, is for Airoli, Belapur, Panvel and Uran constituencies.

Maharashtra Elections Traffic Advisory for Airoli
- Restricted entry of all kinds of vehicles except essential services and those commissioned for election-related duties from 5:00 pm on November 18 till completion of counting of votes on November 23.
- Movement is prohibited between Poonam Sweets at Sector 5 and Jankibai Madhvi Hall Road in Airoli and on the road in front of Sector 4's Siddhi Vinayak Society.
- Parking is strictly prohibited from Poonam Sweets, Sector 5 to Jankibai Madhvi Hall Road and on the road in front of Siddhi Vinayak Society in Sector 4.
- Traffic will be diverted to Bhaskar Ghadi Maidan Road from Poonam Sweets to the road in front of the Airoli Sector 4 Petrol Pump via Sant Savata Mali Bhawan. Those using the road in front of Sector 4's Siddhi Vinayak Society, you will have to take a deroute via Navratri Hotel in the same sector to Dutt Mandir in Sector 17.
- Strong room to keep election material and for the counting process has been prepared in Airoli's Sector 5, Saraswati Vidyalaya.
Maharashtra Elections Traffic Advisory for Belapur
- Restricted entry of all kinds of vehicles except essential services and those commissioned for election-related duties from 5:00 pm on November 18 till completion of counting of votes on November 23.
- Movement is prohibited between Palm Beach Road's Vajrani Signal to Ramji Balu Bhagat Chowk and the service road parallel to Vajrani Sports Club-to-Palm Beach Road to Health Juice Center.
- Parking is strictly prohibited in the same area.
- Traffic will be diverted to Nerul Sector 18's internal roads and then to their respective destinations via the Palm Beach Road.
- Strong room to keep election material and for the counting process has been prepared in Nerul's Sector 24, Plot Number 9; the materials and officials will be transported from Agri Koli Cultural Hall.
Maharashtra Elections Traffic Advisory for Panvel
- Restricted entry of all kinds of vehicles except essential services and those commissioned for election-related duties from 5:00 pm on November 18 till completion of counting of votes on November 23.
- Movement is prohibited between Kalamboli Circle-D Point, JNPT Road (Karnala Cut) to Kalsekar College and Panvel to Kalsekar College via Thana Naka.
- Parking is strictly prohibited in the area.
- Traffic Diversions: Khanda Colony flyover via Kalamboli Circle must be used by those going to JNPT from Panvel and those travelling from Kalamboli Circle must use Khanda Colony flyover.
- Strong room to keep election material and for the counting process has been prepared in Anjuman Islam Kalsekar Polytechnic College opposite Karnala Sports Academy near Thana Naka.
Maharashtra Elections Traffic Advisory for Uran
- Restricted entry of all kinds of vehicles except essential services and those commissioned for election-related duties from 5:00 pm on November 18 till completion of counting of votes on November 23.
- Movement is prohibited on the Dighoda to Dastan Phata Road.
- Parking is strictly prohibited in the area.
- Traffic Diversions: Vehicles to Dastan Phata via Dighoda will be diverted via Dighoda Jambhulpada - Jungle Cut.
- Strong room to keep election material and for the counting process has been prepared in Jasai-situated Zila Parishad School.
