Atlee talks about his film with Allu Arjun, says 'We have an idea but...'

Atlee, who is known for giving back-to-back blockbuster films to the film industry, opened up about his next project. Reports have been doing the rounds that the director will be collaborating with Allu Arjun for his next film, but there was no official word. Now, in a recent interview, the director spilled the beans that he'll be teaming up with Allu Arjun for his next film.

Atlee to join hands with Allu Arjun

Speaking to Pinkvilla, the Mersal director addressed the buzz regarding him working with Allu Arjun. He said that they are very good friends and have "loved" each other's craft. Regarding the project, the director added that they are planning to work together and even have an idea of what and how to do it. However, for Atlee, a film comes together by "god's blessing" so he needs blessings in the form of a "right script". 

“Of course, we have an idea of what to do and how to do it. A film comes together by god’s blessing so we need the blessings in the form of the right script. We have an idea and now, let’s wait for god’s blessings,” said the Jawan director.

When asked when he would be starting his next project, to this, the director replied that he was in no hurry to start a new project. He will be taking a much-needed break after the success of Jawan and spending his time with his 4-month-old son Meer.  

Atlee in discussion with Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh

Atlee, who is debuting as a producer with Varun Dhawan starrer VD18, revealed that he is in discussion with Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for projects. "I had a discussion long back with Hrithik sir too. I have spoken about a film with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh too. Right now, we all have that synergy and are aligned to an idea.”
