Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor Planning For A Second Child After Raha? Internet Can't Keep Calm As Actresss Drops Major Hints

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's daughter Raha Kapoor is an Internet sensation. The 2-year-old was born in November 2022, soon after the couple's wedding in April that year. Speaking at a podcast, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress shared how she zeroed in on the name for her daughter. Speaking about the same, she even dropped some hints about having a son.

Alia Bhatt appeared on the podcast with Jay Shetty where the duo discussed all about the actress' life as a new mother. Speaking about her prepartum period, she recalled asking her family members to suggest a name for their newborn. She recalled loving a boy's name and insisted that she would not disclose it yet as she might need it in the future.

Alia said, “This was when Ranbir and I both, like eager parents, were asking on our family group to give both boys and girls names so we’re prepared, so we can zero down on like a girl name and a boy name. So, there were multiple boy names and multiple girl names and, um, we really liked one boy name." She continued, "We said, ‘Okay, this a lovely boy name.’ I’m not going to reveal that now. We said okay, this name is lovely, now any more girl? My mother-in-law, Ranbir’s mom, suggested, ‘What about Raha? It’ll go very well with the boy name as well if you ever have a boy. If you have a boy and a girl, it’ll be a really good combination.’ Then she suggested a girl and girl combination as well. But Ranbir and I instantly loved Raha. So we had two names, boy and girl, ready." Alia's statements have sparked rumours of the couple planning another child.

Alia Bhatt plans to make a digital keepsake for daughter Raha 

In the same podcast, Alia Bhatt shared that she is keeping a digital diary for her daughter Raha. She insisted that she does not have the patience to keep a physical record of things. The actress added that she secretly records her husband playing with her daughter when both of them are not looking. She said, “I’m doing this thing where I’m sending Raha emails. I’ve been doing this ever since she was born. I do it every month. Just an amalgamation of photos, videos, what happened, thoughts, and feelings. Somebody said it’s like a summary. I thought it’s a great idea. It’s a life memory book. I don’t have the discipline and the energy to fill out a physical memory book. So I thought this is a nice, digital memory book. It’s easier and it’s nice. Maybe when she’s 15, I’d gift it to her and say, ‘Listen, this is all the memories we collected for you over the years. Go ahead, have some fun.'"
