It's controversial/ Bluffmaster actor Bhupinder Singh arrested in Bijnaur for allegedly killing his neighbour

In a shocking development, popular TV and film actor Bhupinder Singh has been arrested in Bijnor following a murder incident. He has been accused of randomly firing from his licensed revolver and killing one young man and wounding three others. The actor was taken into custody after a complaint was raised by the deceased’s uncle at a local police station.

The TV actor fired a handgun after a dispute with neighbour

Reportedly, Bhupinder Singh got involved in a heated argument with his neighbour Gurdeep Singh over an issue of felling of trees on the edge of a property where the actor owns a farmhouse. After the argument escalated between the two, things went out of hand and Bhupinder reportedly fired his handgun. Bhupinder was accompanied by three other men during this argument - his domestic help Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh, and Gurjar Singh - who were absconding since the incident took place.

Meanwhile, Gurdeep Singh at that moment was accompanied by his wife Meerabai, and his two sons Amrik and Gurdeep. While Gurdeep, his wife and son Amrik sustained injuries, Gurdeep’s elder son Gurmeet passed away from the gunshot wound.

Later on Sunday night, an official police complaint was filed against Bhupinder and his aide. Besides the actor, police also arrested Gyan Singh later that evening.  As of now, the police are on the lookout for two other absconding men. 

Bhupinder Singh made his acting debut with the TV show Jai Mahabharat. He is a very popular actor, courtesy of his work in TV shows like Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Ek Haseena Thi, Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam among many others. Bhupinder also appeared in mainstream Hindi films like Yuvvraaj, Bluffmaster, Shaapit and Ready.
