Choona trailer has been released by the makers and will star Jimmy Sheirgill as a greedy politician named Shukla. The show will release on August 3.
The trailer Choona starring Jimmy Sheirgill has been released by the makers on July 25. Choona is an upcoming web series touted to be a heist comedy drama. The show also stars Aashim Gulati, Vikram Kochhar, Arshad Warsi, Chandan Roy, and Namit Das, among others in prominent roles.

Choona trailer promises a grand heist comedy
The trailer of Choona opened with the introduction of Jimmy Sheirgill, who is a politician with great knowledge of astrology. At the beginning of the clip, he claimed that he had control over all his planets and can overthrow the government to become the next chief minister. Following that, Aashim Gulati entered the frame and told the politician (Jimmy) that he can self-immolate for him.
On the other hand, a group of miscreants, including Aashim, hatch a plan to steal Rs. 300 crore from Jimmy as an act of revenge against him. However, the heist does not go as planned due to the tight security arrangement of the politician-astrologer. The trailer gets hilarious when Vikram Kochhar is told to zoom past a window. He says, "I am not Tom Cruise." The clip further shows several snippets from the twisted robbery and get interesting as the amount increased from Rs. 300 crore to Rs. 800 crore.

Talking about his excitement while working on the series, Jimmy Sheirgill said that he has always wanted to take up roles that help him push his abilities as an artiste,
"As an actor, I have always been inclined towards stories that push me to explore my capabilities. Also, as an audience myself, I personally like narratives that are engaging, character driven and bring out the flavour of our rich cultural backdrop. Choona gave me an opportunity to play a character that's spiteful yet appealing, which to me is unique,"he told ANI
