Dharmendra and Sunny Deol visited the sets of the film Dono. The film marks the debut of Rajveer Deol who is the son of Sunny Deol and the grandson of Dharmendra. The film also marks the debut of Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma. The romantic drama is helmed by Avnish Barjatya who is the son of Suraj Barjatya.

In an interview with ANI, the newcomer actor Rajveer Deol as well as the filmmaker Avnish Barjatya shared how their family members have always supported them and even visited the film’s set to help boost their confidence. Rajveer mentions how his father Sunny Deol’s presence made the film special. He commented, “Papa was on set with the family on the very first day, in fact, what made my day one on Dono so special was that he gave a clap for my very first shot.”

The actor mentioned how he will always cherish the memory of his father and grandfather, Dharmendra coming on set. He added, “That will be my most cherished memory from this film always. Bade Papa (Dharmendra) also came to the set, and he came on a day when I was very nervous. I was shooting my most difficult scene that comes before the interval, and he gave me surprise when he just walked in on the set unannounced, his being there gave me great confidence.”

Ace director Suraj Barjatya also visited the sets of Dono to guide his son on his maiden directorial project. Avnish told ANI, “Dad being there on set was the greatest strength for all of us and especially for me. In the most stressful of shoots, his reassuring presence meant the world to us.” He added how the advice he got from his father made the ‘biggest difference’. He also reiterated that Suraj is a great person for him to bounce ideas. He concluded, “I was so lucky to have him there as a pillar of support throughout the film”
