Diwali Throwback: How Singham Again Actors Deepika-Ranveer Celebrated Before Becoming Parents

Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone: Diwali was celebrated on November 1. This year’s festivities will be more special for Deepveer as it will mark the couple's first Diwali as parents. Last year, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were among the many celebrities who took to their social media account to share glimpses of their Diwali celebrations. Sharing the photos on social media, the couple extended wishes of the day with their followers.

On November 12, 2023, on the occasion of Diwali, Singham Again star Ranveer Singh shared pictures on his Instagram account with his wife Deepika Padukone. In the photo, the couple shared a candid moment, with the Cocktail actress planting a kiss on Ranveer’s cheek. Along with the series of pictures, the actor wrote, “Love and light…Happy Diwali”

In the series of photos, Ranveer was seen dressed in a white coloured kurta pyjama set which he teamed with a white, floral jacket. On the other hand, Singham Again actress was seen in a red coloured suit-set with floral motif work in golden colour. The Cirkus actor also shared a glimpse of the puja heaven in which the couple partook in. Photos of the couple are now doing rounds again on social media.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now parents to a baby girl

Deepika Padukone was admitted to the H.N. Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, on the first day of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration - September 7. The actress has given birth today, September 8. 

The couple announced the arrival of their daughter in a joint Instagram post that read, “Welcome Baby Girl 08/09/2024." They shared the post without a caption.
