Dream Girl 2 song Dil ka Telephone 2.0: Ayushmann Khurrana woos Ananya Panday in new song

Dream Girl 2 will make its theatrical debut on August 25. Ahead of its release, the makers released Dil ka Telephone 2.0 song from the film. The track is the new rendition of the hit song from the prequel of the movie.

Ayushmann took to his Instagram handle on Thursday to share Dil ka Telephone 2.0 with his fans. In the caption, he wrote, “I’m searching for your love. #DilKaTelephone 2 Song Out Now! #25AugustHogaMast #DreamGirl2 in Cinemas on 25th August.”

While the song's melody doesn't change, Ayushmann and Ananya make an appearance with a new hook step. Apart from them, the song also includes Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, and Manoj Singh. Meet Bros and Jonita Gandhi croon the song, with the newest addition of Jubin Nautiyal, who replaced Nakash Aziz from the original song.

What is the plotline of Dream Girl 2?

The story of Dream Girl 2 revolves around Karam, the protagonist of the movie, who assumes the identity of Pooja to showcase his ability to sing in a feminine voice. He develops feelings for Pari Srivastav, played by Ananya Panday. However, Pari’s father (Paresh Raval) wants her to get married and have a stable life. The teaser suggests an entertaining journey filled with amusing difficulties and embarrassing situations.

Dream Girl 2 is slated to open in theatres on August 25. The film was earlier supposed to hit the theatres in July but the release date got postponed due to VFX work.
