WAR

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, War currently holds the biggest opening in the history of Bollywood.  On its opening day, War made a whopping 53.35 crores across all industry sources. The movie’s story revolves around an Indian soldier who is deployed to eliminate his former mentor. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Both the actors went through intense training routine to achieve the look for the movie. The movie has some of the best high-octane action sequences of all time.

Bharat

Bharat is an action-drama film which stars the popular actor Salman Khan. Bharat is among the most successful movies of Salman Khan. It tells the story of a young boy named Bharat who goes on a journey to freedom. It is said that Salman’s movie made a massive 42.30 crores on its first day of collections. The movie also grossed well overseas.

Mission Mangal

This movie is inspired by true events. Starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, Mission Mangal tells the story of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s Mars orbiter mission. Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal was a gigantic success on its first day with the collection of 29.16 crores. The movie also possesses a dramatic flair and tells the story of ISRO’s mission eloquently. Akshay, as always has outdone his role in the film.

Saaho 

Saaho is an action-thriller directed by Sujeet. Starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, Saaho created a massive hype among the audience during the time of its release. It also delivered a spectacular performance by Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas with some energetic action sequences. On its first day of collection, Saaho reportedly made a whopping 24.40 crores at the box office.

Kalank

Kalank is a romantic-drama set during the pre-independent India. The movie centres six individuals and their experiences of love, betrayal and revenge. This movie was among the most anticipated movies of 2019 as it was being compared to Padmaavat. However, the movie did well at the box office according to industry sources, with an opening of 21.60 crores.
