Gadar 2 team meets UP CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow, Sunny Deol skips

Amid the massive success of the movie, the Gadar 2 team recently met with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. During the meeting, director Anil Sharma was accompanied by actors Manish Wadhwa, Utkarsh Sharma, and Simrat Kaur. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel gave a miss to the trip.

Gadar 2 team meets UP CM Yogi Adityanath

The team of Gadar 2 met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Wednesday. A photo from the meeting has also surfaced online wherein the Gadar 2 team can be seen posing with the CM. Sharing the photo, CM Yogi Adityanath wrote which loosely translated to, "Courtesy meeting with the director and cast of the film Gadar 2 at Lucknow's official residence today."

Director Anil Sharma later re-shared the post and wrote, "Gratitude and respect for divine personality Yogi Adityanath.. an honour for the #Gadar2 team." Apart from meeting the CM, the team also watched the movie with Yogi Adityanath. Meanwhile, Gadar 2 is having a historic run at the box office and aiming to join the 500-crore club soon.

Gadar 2 to challenge Pathaan and Baahubali 2?

Gadar 2 has taken the box office by storm and surpassed the coveted Rs. 400 crore mark in India. Now, trade analyst Taran Adarsh has predicted that the movie will challenge the domestic box office collections of Baahubali 2 and Pathaan. While Pathaan stood at a gross collection of Rs. 543.05 crore, Baahubali 2's lifetime domestic collection was Rs. 510.99 crore.
