Koi... Mil Gaya is all set to release in theatres again. On August 8, the film starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta will complete 20 years since its release. To celebrate the special occasion, the makers have decided to re-release the film on August 4. The film has achieved cult status in Indian cinema over the last two decades.

Koi... Mil Gaya sets re-release date
To celebrate the film's 20th anniversary, PVR Inox has decided to re-release Koi Mil Gaya on August 4 across 30 cities in India. The film's director Rakesh Roshan is thrilled about this initiative and shared that the team at PVR Inox reached out to him to celebrate 20 years and was very happy to know about their plans. He added that the idea behind this decision is to relive the nostalgia of the film and introduce the new generation to Jaadoo, the lovable alien.

The director expressed his gratitude for the enduring love the film continues to receive even after 20 years of its release. "We set out to make Koi Mil Gaya as a children's film that would be enjoyed by kids and entertain their families. It was a risk I was taking as a filmmaker introducing a sci-fi film with an alien, but the audience response was my biggest reward," he told Pinkvilla.
