Is Animal longest film of Ranbir Kapoor's career? Rumoured runtime stokes fan frenzy

Animal is easily one of the most awaited films of the year. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is currently inching its way to its much-anticipated December 1 release. Besides the core plot of the film being shrouded in complete mystery, Animal also has another feat to its credit. The film, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna, will be one of the longest Bollywood films, if reports are to be believed.

Animal's runtime is one of the longest in contemporary cinema

As per recent reports, the Ranbir Kapoor led Animal's runtime moves well beyond the average two to two-and-a-half-hour mark. Animal will reportedly be clocking in a three-plus hour runtime - three hours and twenty-one minutes to be precise. If true, this will mark the longest film of Ranbir's career. As of now, this record is held by the Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos. Jagga Jasoos had a run time of precisely three hours.

Despite its ample rumoured runtime, Animal may have a slightly whittled down audience. This comes as a result of the violence and gore in the film which is likely to attract an A certification by the CBFC. The official CBFC certification is currently pending.

Team Animal released the film's teaser at the Burj Khalifa

The official teaser for Animal was showcased by the film's team at Dubai's Burj Khalifa. An official glimpse of the teaser lighting up Burj Khalifa was also shared by the official X handle of the film.
 

Animal is directed by Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga and will be hitting theatres on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
